TORONTO - The line of Jaden Schwartz, Brayden Schenn and Vladimir Tarasenko is expected to be reunited Saturday when the Blues meet the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotiabank Arena (6 p.m. CT, FSMW, KMOX).
"We need to get back to being counted on - all three of us - scoring goals for this team and playing a solid two-way game," Schenn told stlouisblues.com. "We've got to lead this team up front. We have a lot of guys that can do it, but we feel as a line, we can go out there and lead the charge and we're going to try to do that tonight."

"We're excited to turn things around here," Schwartz said. "Obviously we played well last year with all that chemistry… we're excited to get going here, we're anxious."
Expect Alexander Steen, Tyler Bozak and Pat Maroon to stay together tonight - Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo called that his best line in Montreal - but there will be changes to the other forward groups. Zach Sanford is expected to get an opportunity with Ryan O'Reilly and David Perron, while Jordan Kyrou will play with Ivan Barbashev and Sammy Blais.
"I would say we're still in the process of trying to identify who is going to fit with who and who is going to fit in what role," Yeo said. "But no excuses. I don't think people are going to feel real sorry for us and I don't think the rest of our division is going to sit around and wait for us to catch up, so we've got to find it quickly here."

Schwartz, Schenn on adding Tarasenko to their line

Jay Bouwmeester and Robert Thomas won't be in the lineup tonight.
"Obviously difficult decisions like this come when you're not winning hockey games," Yeo said of Bouwmeester sitting out. "Part of it is (Jordan) Schmaltz and (Vince) Dunn have been playing well for us. It's a very, very difficult decision for me as a coach when you've got a player you respect like Bouw in what he has accomplished in his career."
Yeo said it was also a tough decision to have Thomas sit out.
"He's from here, I know this game is meaningful to him, but (Barbashev) has played solid for us, hard to take 'Barby' out of the game," Yeo said of Thomas. "I don't believe that (Blais) or Jordan (Kyrou) deserve to come out of the game... We're going to get (Thomas) back in the lineup. This is what we chose to go with tonight."
