DETROIT - The Chicago Wolves have been making significant contributions to the Blues' lineup since before the All-Star break when Kyle Brodziak was lost to injury.
First it was Ivan Barbashev, who has filled in nicely on the fourth line in Brodziak's spot. Then, when Robby Fabbri went down with an ACL injury, Kenny Agostino and Magnus Paajarvi were recalled from the Wolves. Both have been regulars in the lineup since being recalled and have appeared on the scoresheet.

Now that Paul Stastny is expected to miss at least the next two games, the Blues have recalled center Wade Megan from Chicago. Megan played in one game earlier this season for the Blues and scored in his NHL debut.
Tonight, with injuries to three of their regular forwards, the Blues are expected to ice a line of Chicago Wolves: Kenny Agostino, Ivan Barbashev and Magnus Paajarvi. Those three players haven't played together on one line this season in Chicago, but they do expect some chemistry tonight in Detroit.
"Why not? It's a great line," Paajarvi said after Wednesday's optional practice. "They've proved they can play here for sure, and I played a lot with Agostino (in Chicago) so I know him very well. Chemistry shouldn't be a problem there. Ivan has been doing really well lately. It's exciting."

Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo said he's been continually impressed with the contributions from these players over the last few weeks, but...
"The message to them is the same as the one to our team: What you did yesterday is nice, but what you do today is more important," Yeo said. "It's a good test for these guys, all of them."
Other expected changes for tonight include Carl Gunnarsson returning to the lineup in Robert Bortuzzo's place and Carter Hutton will start in goal.
