NASHVILLE - Carter Hutton is expected to start his 22nd game of the season tonight in Nashville - a place where he spent three seasons before signing with the Blues in the summer of 2016.
Hutton's 22 starts will surpass the number he started for the Blues during the entire 2016-17 season (21).
"They're a team that I've seen first hand, where sometimes they start rolling and it feels like the rink is closing in around you," Hutton said of facing the Predators. "The crowd really does a good job of getting into it. Everyone saw it last year during their playoff run. (We just need to) play our game, cancel out the crowd. We've played in some tough buildings, so nothing any different for us tonight."

Hutton posted a 33-23-12 record with a 2.55 goals-against average and a .928 save-percentage in Nashville. In two seasons in St. Louis, he is 28-13-3 with a 2.07 goals-against average and a .928 save-percentage.
Blues Head Coach Mike Yeo said his forward lines and defense pairings would remain the same for tonight's 7 p.m. game (FSMW, FSGO, KMOX).
The Blues are four points behind Nashville for the top spot in the Central Division, so two points tonight would be crucial.
"(Nashville is) a consistent team, a deep team, a very aggressive team," Yeo said. "I would expect them to come out right off the drop of the puck to try to get pucks in, be aggressive on the forecheck, be aggressive to the net and be aggressive with the d-men jumping up the ice. We've got to be ready to combat that, to defend that, but we can't just absorb it. We're at our best when we're attacking and in the offensive zone. "
