Projected Lineup: Hurricanes vs. Predators

Win and in. The recipe is simple for clinching a playoff berth for the Nashville Predators.
The Preds (29-23-2) were hoping the Tampa Bay Lightning would defeat the Dallas Stars on Friday night in order to clinch their postseason spot, but instead, Dallas's victory gave the Carolina Hurricanes (36-10-8) the Central Division title. Tonight, the Predators will take matters into their own hands and attempt to get the two points needed by beating the Hurricanes.
The Hurricanes (36-10-8) earned a division title on Friday night, and they will either face the Predators or the Stars in the first round of the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Carolina is also the front-runner for the Presidents' Trophy and the NHL's top regular-season record.
Nashville will host Carolina on Saturday and Monday, while Dallas will visit the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday and Monday.
The Preds held a full practice on Friday; they did not hold a morning skate on Saturday. Below is their projected lineup:
