The Hurricanes (36-10-8) earned a division title on Friday night, and they will either face the Predators or the Stars in the first round of the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Carolina is also the front-runner for the Presidents' Trophy and the NHL's top regular-season record.
Nashville will host Carolina on Saturday and Monday, while Dallas will visit the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday and Monday.
