CALGARY, AB --The Calgary Flames will get Johnny Gaudreau back in the lineup this evening when they face off against th Anaheim Ducks at 7:30 PM MT (SN360, SNW, SN960).
Head coach Glen Gulutzan confirmed the winger will return after missing 10 games with a fractured finger. The coaching staff is still determining which forward will come out of the lineup with Gaudreau back in the mix. The Flames held an optional skate this morning so there are no line rushes to make projections on up front.
Lance Bouma also skated today, wearing a regular practice jersey after being deemed ready to handle contact, is close to returning but is not available tonight.
On defence, the Flames are expected to run with the same pairings they have utilized the past two games: Mark Giordano - Dougie Hamilton, TJ Brodie - Dennis Wideman and Jyrki Jokipakka - Deryk Engelland.
In net, Chad Johnson is tonight's confirmed starter.
