Prince Albert's Andy Smith takes WHL player of the week honours

CALGARY - Andy Smith of the Prince Albert Raiders has earned the Western Hockey League's player of the week honours.

Smith, 19, scored four goals and added three assists in three games to help the Bruins post a 2-0-1-0 record last week.

Smith, from Rosetown, Sask., scored a pair of goals and added an assist to lead Chilliwack 3-2 over Vancouver on Nov. 11, his Bruins debut.

Smith up a goal and an assist in a 5-4 overtime win over Prince George on Saturday, then scored a goal and had an assist the next evening in a 5-2 victory over the Kamloops Blazers.
