BRANDON, Man. - James Priestner made 34 saves to backstop the Brandon Wheat Kings to a 4-2 victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the Western Hockey League on Wednesday night.
Jay Fehr notched a goal and an assist and Andrew Clark, Matt Calvert and Aaron Lewadniuk also scored for the Wheat Kings, who sit third in the Eastern Conference at 43-16-3-1 and clinched home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
Zach Boychuk and Colton Sceviour replied for the Hurricanes, who fell to 30-28-3-2 and hold seventh place in the conference.
Juha Metsola stopped 30 shots for Lethbridge.
