Priestner gets first WHL career shutout as Blazers down Hawks 4-0

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - James Priestner posted his first WHL shutout in his second career start Sunday as the Kamloops Blazers dumped the Portland Winter Hawks, 4-0.

Priestner, a 16-year-old from Edmonton who made one start for the Blazers last season, finished with 13 saves, including eight in the first period.

Brock Nixon, Travis Dunstall, Alex Rodgers and C.J. Stretch scored for the Blazers (2-1-0-0).

Goaltender Kurtis Mucha stopped 28 shots for Portland (0-4-0-0).
