Four top vote-getters will be named captains; balloting runs through Jan. 1

NEW YORK -- Tampa Bay Lightning forward Steven Stamkos , Nashville Predators defenseman P.K. Subban , Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin and Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid are the top vote-getters after one week of voting in the 2018 NHL All-Star Fan Vote™. The four top vote-getters by division - regardless of position - will be named All-Stars and captains for the 2018 Honda NHL® All-Star Game in Tampa on Sunday, Jan. 28 (3:30 p.m. ET, NBC, CBC, SN, TVAS).

The ballot page at NHL.com/vote includes a leaderboard of the top vote-getters, which will be updated every Wednesday. See below for the top vote-getters by division through one week.

Country music star Hicks joins entertainment lineup for NHL100 Classic

Will perform prior to Canadiens-Senators outdoor game on Dec. 16

NEW YORK / TORONTO - Platinum-selling country music star Tim Hicks and JUNO Award-winning singer-songwriter Serena Ryder have joined the entertainment lineup for the 2017 Scotiabank NHL100 Classic™, the outdoor game between the Ottawa Senators® and Montreal Canadiens® on Saturday, Dec. 16 at Lansdowne Park in Ottawa, the National Hockey League announced today. The game, which will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the League's first games played on Dec. 19, 1917, will be broadcast live on Hockey Night in Canada and TVA Sports in Canada and on NBCSN in the U.S. at 7 p.m. ET.

Stanley Cup, NHL Centennial Fan Arena part of NHL100 Classic PreGame

Senators, Canadiens to play at Lansdowne Park in Ottawa on Dec. 16

TORONTO -- The National Hockey League (NHL) and its corporate partners will entertain hockey fans in Ottawa with The PreGame, the official tailgate party of the 2017 Scotiabank NHL100 Classic™ - the regular season outdoor game on Dec. 16 at Lansdowne Park between the Ottawa Senators and Montreal Canadiens, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the League's first games played on Dec. 19, 1917.

The two-day hockey-themed, family-friendly festival will be hosted at the Aberdeen Pavilion and Aberdeen Square (1000 Exhibition Way) in Ottawa on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 1-7 p.m. ET and Sunday, Dec. 17 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. ET. The PreGame is free of charge and open to fans of all ages. A ticket to the NHL100 Classic is not required for entry.

Stevens returning to NHL Network as studio analyst

Hall of Fame defenseman, three-time Stanley Cup winner to make season debut on Dec. 7

NHL Network today announced that Hockey Hall of Famer and three-time Stanley Cup champion Scott Stevens has returned to the network as a studio analyst. Stevens, who was part of NHL Network's on-air roster from 2015-2016 before serving as an assistant coach for the Minnesota Wild during the 2016-17 season, will make his return on NHL Tonight on Thursday, December 7 at 6:00 p.m. ET alongside Dave Reid and Tony Luftman.
