The reigning Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings will be honored by President Barack Obama on Monday during a visit to the White House. The visit will continue the tradition started by President Obama of honoring sports teams for their efforts to give back to their communities.

The Kings, who also visited the White House in March 2013, defeated the New York Rangers in the 2014 Stanley Cup Final to win the Cup for the second time in three seasons.

Obama will also honor the Los Angeles Galaxy, the 2014 champions of Major League Soccer.
