Preds vs. Jets, Game 5: How to Watch, Live Stream

The best-of-seven series has turned into a best-of-three.
With a 2-1 win over Winnipeg in Game 4, the Nashville Predators evened their Round Two series at two games apiece and now return to Bridgestone Arena tonight for Game 5, presented by Ford, with a chance to take their first lead of the series.
The Preds would prefer to limit Winnipeg's chances much like they did in Game 4's victory. It was the first time in the series Nashville held the Jets to less than four goals. Now, the Predators have returned home looking to harness the energy of the 7th Man and head back up to Winnipeg with a chance to advance.
"Our guys, we don't need to talk numbers," Preds Head Coach Peter Laviolette said. "They know how many games are left, they know how many games are at Bridgestone Arena, so there's not a lot of time left in this series to win two hockey games… I know they realize they're valuable opportunities."

A flight home from Winnipeg meant the Predators did not practice on Friday. Winger Scott Hartnell and defenseman Yannick Weber entered the lineup for Game 4, replacing Kevin Fiala and Alexei Emelin, respectively.

Last Time Out:
Ryan Hartman and P.K. Subban tallied in the win, while Pekka Rinne stopped 32 of 33 shots he faced, not allowing a goal until the final minute of the game. It was Nashville's sixth win of the 2018 postseason and the second time they've allowed one goal or fewer.
Filip Forsberg continues to lead the Preds in playoff scoring with five goals and 12 points, followed by Ryan Johansen with 10 points and then Subban, Mattias Ekholm and Austin Watson with eight points apiece. Watson also has five goals in the postseason, Johansen has four and Subban, Colton Sissons, Viktor Arvidsson and Kevin Fiala each have three.
The Opposition:
Patrik Laine scored Winnipeg's only goal in Game 4 to break a six-game goalless drought. Mark Scheifele leads the Jets with eight goals and 12 points, followed by Dustin Byfuglien, Blake Wheeler and Paul Stastny, who each have identical stat lines with three goals and 10 points each.

Game 4 Highlights:
With an assist on Thursday night in Winnipeg, Filip Forsberg now has seven points (1g-6a) during his current three-game point streak. In just 10 games in these playoffs, he is four points from matching his playoff career high of 16 set in 2017 (also the Predators' all-time most in a single postseason).
P.K. Subban has scored in three consecutive playoff games for the first time in his career, with all three of the Norris Trophy finalist's playoff goals coming on the power play. Per NHL PR, only two defensemen have scored more playoff goals since Subban, who has 16, made his NHL debut in 2009-10: Chicago's Brent Seabrook (19) and Duncan Keith (18).
Nashville's fourth line of Mike Fisher, Miikka Salomaki and Ryan Hartman has combined for two goals and one assist during the second round against Winnipeg, including the opening goals in Games 3 and 4. The line led the way in Game 4 for Nashville, with each player controlling at least 70 percent of the five-on-five shot attempts (Fisher, 75 percent; Salomaki, 73.7 percent; Hartman, 70 percent).

Game 5, presented by Ford, comes with an 8:30 p.m. CT puck drop at Bridgestone Arena. All fans in attendance will receive a Gold rally towel presented by Ford and MAPCO. A plaza party presented by Lee Company gets underway at 5:30 p.m. on the Bridgestone Arena plaza, complete with the Smash Jet presented by Price's Collision Centers and live music.
Arena doors open to the general public at 6:30 p.m. and all fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 8:25 p.m. to catch all the pregame excitement.
