Two of the five Predators prospects who participated at the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship are going home with medals.
Forward Philip Tomasino and Team Canada fell to the United States in the Gold Medal Game on Tuesday night to earn silver at the tournament, while forward Juuso Parssinen and Team Finland won their final game to take bronze.

That victory for the Finns came against Russia and Preds prospects Iaroslav Askarov, Egor Afanasyev and Semyon Chistyakov.
Tomasino finished the tournament with four goals and six points in seven games for Team Canada, and Parssinen recorded a pair of goals and helpers to total four points for Finland.
Askarov posted a 2.50 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage in net, Afanasyev tallied two goals and three assists in the tournament, and Chistyakov dished out three helpers, while serving as an alternate captain for Russia.
All eyes now turn to Tomasino who could make his way to Nashville soon. Predators General Manager David Poile has previously said the team would look to bring the highly touted prospect to Tennessee following the World Juniors for a chance to make the Preds roster this season.
