Predators' Timonen scratched with upper body injury against Wild

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Nashville defenseman Kimmo Timonen missed his first game of the season Saturday night when he sat out against the Predators' game against the Minnesota Wild due to an "upper-body injury."

Timonen played 18 minutes, 35 seconds in Friday night's 1-0 loss at St. Louis. He is day to day.

The Nashville captain was the team's lone All-Star last month, and is the Predators' top-scoring defenseman with 38 points.
