Denis Gurianov signed a one-year, $850,000 contract with the Nashville Predators on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old forward was an unrestricted free agent. He had 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists) in 66 games for the Montreal Canadiens and Dallas Stars last season, including eight points (five goals, three assists) in 23 games after he was acquired in a trade with the Stars on Feb. 26.

Selected by Dallas in the first round (No. 12) of the 2015 NHL Draft, Gurianov has 111 points (51 goals, 60 assists) in 280 regular-season games for the Canadiens and Stars and 17 points (nine goals, eight assists) in 32 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
