NASHVILLE -- Nashville Predators center Mike Ribeiro is not in the lineup for Game 3 of the Western Conference Second Round against the San Jose Sharks at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday.

Ribeiro played 81 regular-season games and had seven goals and 43 assists.

Predators forward Craig Smith has had a lower-body injury since Game 3 of the Western Conference First Round against the Anaheim Ducks. He was on the ice for warmups and skated on a line with Colin Wilson and Mike Fisher.

Predators rookie forward Pontus Aberg is making his NHL debut.

The Sharks lead the best-of-7 series 2-0. Game 4 is here on Thursday (9 p.m. ET; CNBC, SN, TVA Sports 2).
