Predators not counting on Radulov as prep for camp @NHL

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Russia's Continental Hockey League has agreed to binding arbitration with the NHL over the contract status of forward Alexander Radulov, who has a year left on his deal with the Nashville Predators but signed a three-year to play in the new league.

Predators general manager David Poile said he was informed Wednesday that the KHL had agreed to the NHL's request for binding arbitration. The NHL Board of Governors discussed the Radulov situation Tuesday during a meeting in Toronto.

When and where the arbitration occurs still must be agreed upon. NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly said the KHL wants the arbitration to take place in Russia among several other conditions described as "unacceptable."
