Kevin-Fiala

Nashville Predators forward Kevin Fiala returned to the ice Thursday for the first time since he broke his left femur during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Fiala, who was injured in Game 1 of the Western Conference Second Round against the St. Louis Blues on April 26, posted

with the caption "What a great feeling to be back on the ice again".
Fiala is progressing quicker than doctors anticipated, according to Predators general manager David Poile, and is expected to be ready for training camp, which begins Sept. 14.
Fiala, 20, had 16 points (11 goals, five assists) in 54 regular-season games and two goals in five playoff games, including in the second overtime in Game 3 against the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round.
The Predators reached the Stanley Cup Final, when they lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins in six games.
