Fabbro suspended two games for elbowing

NEW YORK -- Nashville Predators defenseman Dante Fabbro has been suspended for two games, without pay, for elbowing Carolina Hurricanes forward Brock McGinn during NHL Game No. 404 in North Carolina on Tuesday, March 9, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 13:43 of the second period. Fabbro was assessed a minor penalty for elbowing.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Fabbro will forfeit $15,948.28. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
