CHILLIWACK, B.C. - Jadon Potter scored twice as the Chilliwack Chiefs silenced the Portland Winter Hawks 2-0 in Western Hockey League action Tuesday.
Potter opened the scoring 6:19 into the first period, and added his second of the game - and seventh of the season - at 6:55 of the second. Mark Friesen made the lead stand, stopping 28 shots for his first career WHL shutout as the Bruins (9-11-2-2) ran their points streak to a season-high five games (3-0-1-1).
Kurtis Mucha made 17 saves for the Winter Hawks (7-15-0-0), who have lost two straight following a three-game winning streak.
