The Ducks extended their standings points streak to four straight games (1-0-3, 5 pts.) along with points in five of the last six (2-1-3, 7 pts.) following a 3-2 overtime loss to the Minnesota Wild.

Adam Henrique's third-period goal extended his point streak to five games (3-3=6), marking the second-longest scoring streak to start a Ducks career in franchise history. Only Teemu Selanne had a longer point streak to start a Ducks career at 15 games in 1995-96.
Corey Perry recorded his 16th assist of the season on Henrique's tally, pushing his point streak to four games (2-3=5). Brandon Montour earned his 10th assist of the season and third in his last four games.
Kevin Roy opened the scoring at 9:17 in the first for his fourth goal of the season. Ondrej Kase registered an assist to push his point streak to a career-tying three straight games (1-2=3).
Francois Beauchemin earned his fifth assist of the season and his third point (1-2=3) in his last three contests. Beauchemin also skated in his 550th contest in an Anaheim Ducks uniform, being only the second defenseman in franchise history (Ruslan Salei, 594) to reach the mark.

On leaving points on the board
It's frustrating. Disappointing. I thought we had a decent hockey game. We played good at times. They capitalized off our mistakes. We didn't make too many, but just the little things.
On what needs to be done differently in overtime
Just stick with it. We're working hard. We just haven't found a way to win, get one in OT yet. Hopefully we'll do it next time we get in one.

On the game
We kept fighting. Overall, the game was pretty evenly played. Couple bounces here and there. We continued to stick with it and give us a chance in overtime.
On improving play in overtime
It's frustrating. It feels like we're tentative. I don't want to speak for the other guys, but it just seems like we can't seem to create any offensive chances. We're playing with the puck, we're changing and we're trying to manage the puck, and one breakdown it seems like it's in the back of the net right now. It's something we'll look at.

On the game
We were engaged in the game and playing the right way. We did a lot of good things to get a one-goal lead. We were doing what we needed to do to be successful. For periods of the second period, we started to be too cute. We allowed them to take control of the game and it cost us two goals. In the third, we got back to our game and played more of a grind game.
On overtime
We'd like to take overtime and say we should've handle the puck and managed the puck a little better. We can change more effectively, too. We get strung out for an extended period of time and we make a drop pass that gets picked off. We never really got back into a set of playing the right way on three on three. It's about getting points. Yes, we're not happy we didn't win the hockey game, but we got a point and it's time to move on and get ready for Carolina.

On the day off helping them
It was a fun experience to get a chance to spend some time in a place like that [Newport Beach] with a group of guys. Those are important times throughout the year, to get to know each other and get close and team build. A little bit more important than that is winning the next game so that we can do it again some time.
On confusing the other team offensively
We've got guys driving the net, and pulling up, and just running different plays rather than just going down the wall and throwing it at the net or working it around the outside. Teams are extremely good at playing defensively and playing in position defensively so in order to create stuff, you have to move around and confuse them a little bit. I thought we were doing that well tonight.

On playing three-on-three
You have to be patient. The first shift with Jonas [Brodin] I just followed Rakell around the ice for a whole minute. Not trying to take too many risks right at the start. Just looking for those breakdowns. We stayed patient and it worked out.
Responding in the third period
We played a really strong game tonight. It was good defensively and you can be happy with that, especially from the other night. Going into the same situation tonight with a 2-1 lead and coming out on top tonight definitely shows that we learn from our mistakes.

The whole message was, it is great that you can play right away after the same situation. You get to not only redeem yourself, but you get to show what you're really made of, and go out there and do it.

I think he likes overtime. He is such a good skater and he gets to roam a little bit and it works out really good for him.
