WINNIPEG - The Canadiens' winless streak now stands at four games after Thursday night's 6-3 loss to the Jets.

Armia found the back of the net again with 2:31 left before the break. The 27-year-old Finn buried a perfect pass from Jonathan Drouin on the tail end of a 2-on-1 to put the Canadiens ahead by a pair.

Drouin and defenseman Jeff Petry both collected their 11th helpers of the year on the tally.

As the second period began, the Canadiens announced that Josh Anderson wouldn't be returning to the game due to injury.
The Jets got on the scoreboard at the 5:37 mark of the middle frame with captain Shea Weber in the penalty box for delay of game.
Forward Kyle Connor jumped on a loose puck in the crease and beat goaltender Carey Price for his ninth goal of the season.

The Canadiens replied just 2:04 later on the power play. Jesperi Kotkaniemi capped an end-to-end rush with a pass to a wide open Tomas Tatar, who lit the lamp with ease to give Montreal a 3-1 advantage.

It was Tatar's fifth goal of the season.
The Habs hadn't scored while up a man since February 6 against the Ottawa Senators.
Petry also collected his second assist of the night on the goal.
Winnipeg responded with 8:10 remaining in the period. Connor finished off a perfectly executed tic-tac-toe.

That was his second goal of the night and 10th of the season.
Captain Blake Wheeler tied things up just 3:19 later, beating Price with a wrist shot through traffic from the top of the circle.

Winnipeg led 19-15 in shots after 40 minutes.
The Jets took their first lead of the game at the 6:37 mark of the third period.
Left all alone in the slot, centerman Nate Thompson beat Price with a shot along the ice.

It was the first goal of the season for the former Habs forward.
Pierre-Luc Dubois gave the Jets a 5-3 lead with 7:23 remaining in regulation.

Mark Scheifele added an empty-netter for Winnipeg.
Price made 24 saves in the loss.
It was the Habs' first regulation defeat on road ice this season.
The Canadiens and Jets will meet again on Saturday night at Bell MTS Place. Puck drop is scheduled for 10:00 p.m. ET.
