Pop superstar Justin Bieber skates with Leafs @NHLdotcom

One day after singer Michael Buble skated with the Vancouver Canucks, Justin Bieber took the ice with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday.

The 17-year-old Canadian pop star skated with Dion Phaneuf, Jake Gardiner, Tyler Bozak and goaltender Jonas Gustavsson at Air Canada Centre before taping his Christmas special at Massey Hall.

Unlike Buble, who wore full equipment while skating with the Canucks at Rogers Arena, Bieber wore a knit hat and Leafs warmups as he skated and took shots on Gustavsson -- on one, he was snuffed out on a backhander after a deke.

Bieber has spent time around a number of sports teams -- he joined a training session with Spanish soccer club Barcelona this past April.
