Pleckaitis scores twice as Kingston prevails over Peterborough 4-1

KINGSTON, Ont. - Joe Pleckaitis scored twice and added an assist as the Kingston Frontenacs prevailed over the Peterborough Petes 4-1 in Ontario Hockey League play Friday night.

Taylor Doherty and Michael Farrell added singles for Kingston (22-23-4), while Tyler Beskorowany was solid in net, making 36 saves.

Joey West had a short-handed goal for Peterborough (23-25-3) which broke the Frontenacs shutout with 28 seconds left to play. Andrew d'Agostini stopped 35 shots.
