On the one-year anniversary of P.K. Subban's $10 million pledge to the Montreal Children's Hospital, he got Toronto rapper Kardinal Offishall and singer Yoana Rae to help mark the occasion with a touching and uplifting music video.

The song, called "Year One," talks about Subban's commitment to his pledge after his June 29 trade from the Montreal Canadiens to the Nashville Predators and says, among the lyrics, "The promise to you has just begun and will only get bigger while my friends are Nashvillians."

The video features patients from the Montreal Children's Hospital dancing along with nurses, doctors, hospital staff, and Subban's parents, Maria and Karl.
Subban's sentiments were similar during his speech Wednesday at the hospital's P.K. Subban Atrium in which he announced he'd raised $1.4 million through his Helping Hand program so far. The music video, released on social media Wednesday, was the extra step in typical Subban-style.
