Nashville Predators defenseman P.K. Subban is day to day with an upper-body injury and will be re-evaluated Tuesday.
"I've just been a little bit sore lately, so we're just going to take our time and make sure," Subban told The Tennessean on Friday. "I came in a couple days to skate early. Just a little bit sore, so we're going to see how I feel."

Subban, 27, was acquired in a trade with the Montreal Canadiens for defenseman Shea Weber on June 29. The Predators have their first practice at training camp on Saturday and play their first two preseason games against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday.
Subban had six goals and 45 points in 68 games with the Canadiens last season. He missed the final 14 games with a neck injury.
Predators defenseman Ryan Ellis also is considered day to day with an upper-body injury and will be re-evaluated Tuesday.
Ellis, 25, had an NHL career-high 10 goals, 22 assists and 32 points in 79 games last season.
