DevlinTweet

Devlin Hodges is on Team Pittsburgh, which means he had to get back on good terms with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The quarterback for the NFL's Steelers assured Pittsburgh fans that he no longer hates the Penguins after an old angry tweet circulated during his first NFL start against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

Hodges, an undrafted free agent who signed with the Steelers after a standout college career at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, was supporting the Nashville Predators in the 2017 Stanley Cup Final. In a since-deleted tweet, posted during Pittsburgh's 6-0 win in Game 5 of the best-of-7 series, he shared "I hate the @Penguins."

The tweet was discovered and circulated as he was becoming the third Steelers quarterback to start a game this season. Bygones are apparently bygones now, and Hodges' new tweet and his performance, where he led the Steelers to their second win, helped him get back in the Penguins' good graces.
