Penguins at Golden Knights preview

Fleury spent the first 13 seasons of his NHL career with the Penguins, winning the Stanley Cup three times. Vegas selected Fleury in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft after the Penguins left him unprotected. It will be Fleury's second start since returning from a concussion that caused him to miss 25 games. The Golden Knights are 4-0-1 in their past five games.
The Penguins, losers of two in a row, will have starting goaltender Matt Murray back in net after missing six games with a lower-body injury. Murray was the starting goaltender for most of Fleury's final two seasons in Pittsburgh, each of which ended in a Stanley Cup championship.

Players to watch

Penguins captain Sidney Crosby has 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in the past 10 games. He has scored at least two points in six of those games.
Golden Knights forward James Neal has four points in the past four games (two goals, two assists) after not scoring in the previous four games.

Status report

Kuhnhackl took part in the morning skate Thursday but will not play ... Sbisa is day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Merrill will take his place. Vegas claimed Carpenter off waivers from the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday; he skated Thursday morning but won't play.
