The Pittsburgh Penguins have rebooted a classic.
Remakes are all the rage these days so the Penguins decided to get in on the action, reshooting a classic picture from their first back-to-back Stanley Cup championships.
After winning their second straight Cup to cap off the 1991-92 season, the Penguins displayed a now famous photo of their two superstars, Mario Lemieux and Jaromir Jagr, backs facing the Stanley Cup.
So why not an updated version?
On Thursday the Penguins tweeted a new shot, this time of Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin with their backs to the Cup.
Bonus points to the Penguins for getting Crosby in the the black jersey on Lemieux's side and Malkin in the white sweater on Jagr's side.
The hairdos got a modern update too. Sometimes you just can't touch the original.
