COLUMBUS-- Brandon Dubinsky scored 1:04 into overtime to give the Columbus Blue Jackets a 2-1 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Nationwide Arena on Friday.
Dubinsky used Cam Atkinson as a screen for his first overtime goal in his 675 NHL games.
"It feels really good, especially against those guys in a packed building," Dubinsky said. "The fans were awesome tonight."

Columbus (37-15-5) is one point behind Pittsburgh (36-13-8) for second place and seven behind the Washington Capitals for first in the Metropolitan Division.
Ryan Murray scored, and Sergei Bobrovsky made a season-high 38 saves for the Blue Jackets.
Ian Cole scored for the Penguins, with Evgeni Malkin getting his 500th NHL assist.
Matt Murray made 37 saves for Pittsburgh, which is 6-0-3 in its past nine games, including a 4-3 overtime win against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday.

"It's a tight hockey game. There's a few chances we feel like we could have got," Pittsburgh forward Sidney Crosby said. "They had some good ones. [Murray] made some saves. It's going to happen sometimes. but for the most part we did a lot of good things."
Ryan Murray (no relation) scored his second of the season at 1:33 of the second period for a 1-0 lead. Cole made it 1-1 at 6:13 of the second off a faceoff win by Malkin for his fourth goal.
Columbus twice had a goal waved off because a play was whistled dead. Josh Anderson stuffed the puck at 5:45 of the first period after several whacks. Bjorkstrand thought he scored at 7:48 of the second on a delayed penalty, but the Penguins were ruled to have gained possession of the puck to stop play.

Goal of the game

The game-winner started at the other end with defenseman Seth Jones igniting the transition after extended pressure by the Penguins and ended with Dubinsky's toe drag and shot.

Save of the game

Murray gloved a shot by Brandon Saad with 38 seconds left in the third period. Saad split the defense after taking a pass from Alex Wennberg and had a clear path to the goal.

Unsung performance of the game

Blue Jackets forward Boone Jenner was a consistent presence around the Penguins net, and when he wasn't, he was forechecking and delivering hits in the corner.

Highlight of the game

The Penguins had a chance to take the lead 22 seconds into the third period when Crosby led a 2-on-1 He passed to Jake Guentzel in the right circle for a shot, but Bobrovsky did the splits and made a save with his right pad.
