SUDBURY, Ont. - Bryan Pitton turned aside 23 shots for his first career Ontario Hockey League shutout as the Brampton Battalion silenced the Sudbury Wolves 3-0 on Friday.

Cody Hodgson led the way offensively with a goal and two assists for the Battalion (6-4-0-1). Jason Dale and Mike Lomas had singles while Luke Lynes added two assists.

Pitton, serving as the backup to new starter Patrick Killeen, enjoyed a light night - particularly in the first period, when Sudbury (2-9-0-0) managed just four shots on goal.

Sebastien Dahm stopped 35 shots in defeat for the Wolves.
