TORONTO -- The Canadiens have played their way into the playoffs.
The Habs arrived in Toronto as underdogs, entering the Qualifying Round against a team that finished fifth in the east with 40 wins in 69 games. Few pundits gave them a chance to topple the Penguins before the series began. Even fewer expected them to do it in four games.

It took nearly 55 minutes to break the ice on Friday, when Artturi Lehkonen scored off an amazing individual effort by Paul Byron to break the 0-0 deadlock with 4:11 remaining in the third period. Shea Weber notched the insurance marker into an empty net with 32 seconds to go to seal the Best-of-5 series three games to one.

Weber, Jeff Petry, and Ben Chiarot continued their clutch play in Game 4, playing 22:30, 24:42, and 22:33, respectively. Through four games, the blue-line trio combined for 9 points, 37 hits, 21 blocked shots, and a plus-12 differential.
Friday was a much more disciplined affair than the previous three games, with the Pens and Habs combining for just four penalties between them in Game 4.
The teams also traded fewer shots in the fourth game of the series than they did in the previous three.
Alex Belzile enjoyed a milestone night in Toronto, suiting up for his first career NHL game. Belzile earned his spot in the lineup after spending the last two seasons with the Rocket in the AHL, where he's proven to be a

The 28-year-old played 8:22 in his debut, dished out three hits, and added one blocked shot playing alongside Max Domi and Dale Weise.
The Canadiens will now enjoy a few days off from game action before facing off in the opening round of the playoffs next week. Schedule and match up information will be announced following the conclusion of the other Qualifying Round and Round Robin games.
