Pither scores twice, Colts run winning streak to nine by routing Peterborough

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Luke Pither scored twice an added an assist as the Barrie Colts earned their ninth straight win Wednesday, routing the Peterborough Petes 6-2 in OHL action.

Bryan Cameron added a goal and two assists for the Colts (17-4-1), who have points in 11 straight games after beating the Petes (11-13-0) for the second time in four days.

Kyle Clifford, Dalton Prout and Ryan Strome had singles for Barrie, while Peter Di Salvo stopped 37 shots to preserve the win.

Luke Hietkamp and Liam Heelis had goals for Peterborough, while Jason Missaien made 35 saves in the loss.
