-- Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced that the Worcester Sharks will auction off the Autographed Pink Mask worn by goaltender Thomas Greiss
in an online auction on NHL.com. The auction will start on Friday, November 23rd at Noon and conclude on Saturday, November 30th at 9 p.m. with proceeds going to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge of Worcester via Sharks Charities.

is currently playing for the San Jose Sharks
in the NHL.
All proceeds from the auction will go to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge of Worcester, MA via Sharks Charities. The Worcester Hope Lodge is a free, temporary housing facility for cancer patients who are undergoing treatment in eastern Massachusetts, and their families. It provides guests with private rooms, kitchen facilities, and transportation to treatments. More importantly, perhaps, it also provides a human support network and a comfortable home away from home. Money raised during the Pink Mask auction will help fund the program.
The Pink Mask was designed and painted by the Worcester Sharks Director of Youth Hockey and Community Relations, Michael Myers. Myers has designed and painted several masks, including Conn Smythe Winner Cam Ward
of the Carolina Hurricanes
and Edmonton Oilers

The Pink Mask, which is a mirror image of Greiss’ regular mask, is Pink with swimming sharks and has a Pink Ribbon on the front. The back of the mask dawns a Sharks Charities logo with Sharks Charities Chairwoman Mary C. Defeudis’ signature.
