Pietrangelo scores winner as Niagara holds off the Attack 2-1 @NHL

OWEN SOUND, Ont. - Alex Pietrangelo scored the eventual winner on a second-period power-play as the Niagara IceDogs held off the Owen Sound Attack 2-1 on Saturday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Freddie Hamilton opened the scoring for the IceDogs (23-23-4-6). David Kolomatis scored the only goal for Owen Sound (21-21-7-6), which outshot Niagara 41-25.

Jeremy Smith made 40 saves for the IceDogs, while Attack netminder Scott Stajcer stopped 23 shots.
