VANCOUVER, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants needed two goals from Casey Pierro-Zabotel to beat the struggling Chilliwack Bruins 3-2 in Western Hockey League action Saturday night.
Pierro-Zabotel potted his 31st and 32nd goals of the season, twice giving his team a one-goal lead - the second time for good. Tyson Sexsmith picked up the win in goal, making 13 saves. Mark Friesen, who stopped 21 shots, was tagged with the loss.
James Henry also scored for Vancouver (48-5-1-3). Alexander Wilklund and Scott Ramsay had goals for visiting Chilliwack (14-39-2-2), who have won just twice in 18 games.
