Philipp Grubauer, Hershey Bears shut out St. John's IceCaps 1-0 @NHLdotcom

HERSHEY, Pa. - Philipp Grubauer made 33 saves as the Hershey Bears blanked the St. John's IceCaps 1-0 in American Hockey League action on Sunday.

Stanislav Galiv supplied the offence for Hershey (11-8-2), finding the back of the net with a power-play goal 37 seconds into the third period.

St. John's J.C. Lipon was in the penalty box for unsportsmanlike conduct at the time of the goal.

Peter Budaj turned aside 20 shots for the IceCaps (9-10-5), who lost back-to-back 1-0 games after dropping Saturday night's tilt against the Penguins in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

St. John's had six power-play opportunities but came up empty each time. The Bears were successful on 1-of-3 chances with the man advantage.
