Flyers fan

The Philadelphia Flyers tried to make the best of a terrible situation by inviting one of their fans to hang out for the day.

Mark Smith, an employee at a local drug store,
was attacked by a group of boys
a few weeks ago and the ordeal was shared on social media, where it went viral. Four boys, ages 12-15, were
arrested and charged
in connection with the attack, according to police.
The Flyers brought Smith to their practice facility Wednesday where he met with defenseman Shane Gostisbehere and goalie Anthony Stolarz. They presented Smith with a customized No. 1 Flyers jersey and some other gifts from the team.

"It's not a good thing to see (the video of Smith being struck). But it's great to see his attitude about it and how he's just brushing it off and getting back out there and having fun with his life," Gostisbehere said. "It was awesome (hosting Smith). It was good ot have him in here smiling ear-to-ear."
