Peters scores OT goal to give the Winterhawks their 13th straight win at home @NHLdotcom

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Winterhawks are making it known that they thrive on home-ice advantage.

Taylor Peters scored on a breakaway 3:08 into overtime to give the Winterhawks a 4-3 victory over the Moose Jaw Warriors on Tuesday in Western Hockey League action.

Portland (25-11-3) has now won 13 games straight on home ice, two short of the franchise record.

On the season, they are now 15-2-1, while away from the Memorial Coliseum they are just 9-9-2.

Brad Ross, Chase De Leo and Dillon Wagner also scored for the Winterhawks (25-11-3).

Tyler Vanscourt, Justin Kirsch and Tanner Eberle responded for the Warriors (24-10-5).

Mac Carruth made 23 saves for the win as Spencer tremblay took the loss after turning aside 43 shots.

Portland went 1 for 4 on the power play while Moose Jaw finished 0 for 6.
