Just by growing a mustache, Bryan Rust can be part of a movement that's very important to him.

He, Nick Bonino and Tom Kuhnhackl are the Pens' official participants in Movember, a movement started by the Movember Foundation to change the face of men's health, particularly the biggest health issues they face: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention.
"It's a cause that's kind of near and dear to my heart," Rust said. "Just trying to help raise awareness for men's health issues and everything surrounding it."
Rust's father, Steve, overcame prostate cancer, which inspired Bryan to get involved with this cause.
"He's good, he's recovered now," Rust said. "But it's something that affected me and my family and it's something that stays close to my heart."
It's amazing to Rust that something as simple as growing a mustache can get so much attention, and he's happy to do his part.
"It's definitely funny how many comments I've gotten on Twitter or in public about the mustache," he said. "It's kind of awesome that something this simple can raise so much awareness."
However, Kuhnhackl isn't too happy with how his mustache is growing.
"It's not really that thick yet. It's not that noticeable," he said before adding with a laugh, "But I hope it's going to grow in a little better the next few weeks."
