Penguins defenseman Kris Letang
did not practice Tuesday -- only seven players were on the ice -- and coach Dan Bylsma
had no new information on whether Letang will be available for Game 3 Wednesday night.
Letang took a hard hit from Caps defenseman Mike Green
late in Monday's game and appeared to injure his left shoulder.
Bylsma said Letang was meeting with doctors Tuesday, but he would not comment on the nature of the injury.
"He's still being evaluated," the coach said. "He's much better than we initially thought. There was a possibility of it not being a great injury. He's much better today and it's a strength question right now."
