Pittsburgh Penguins forward Tom Sestito will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Thursday for a hit against Winnipeg Jets defenseman Toby Enstrom during a game at MTS Centre on Wednesday.
The following grounds are being considered for the supplemental discipline: boarding. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
The incident occurred at 13:10 of the first period. Sestito was given a major penalty for checking from behind, as well as a game misconduct. Enstrom left the game after the hit and did not return.
Pittsburgh won the game 7-4.
