Penguins to unveil Stanley Cup championship film

Behind-the-scenes look at run to title hits stores July 26; Pittsburgh to hold special screening for fans July 27 @NHLdotcom

The Pittsburgh Penguins' Stanley Cup party keeps going, and fans can relive the victory with "Stanley Cup Champions 2016: Pittsburgh Penguins," the official film covering the run to the Cup.

The film will be available in stores on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and Digital HD on July 26. The next day, July 27, the Penguins, NHL Original Productions and Cinedigm will hold the Penguins Championship Film Premier presented by Coors Light at Stage AE in Pittsburgh at 8 p.m. Tickets for the event, which is limited to 1,500 fans, are $10 each and are on sale now through Ticketmaster.

The film gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the Penguins season and playoff run, and features extensive interviews with coach Mike Sullivan, captain and Conn Smythe Trophy winner Sidney Crosby, goalie Matt Murray, defenseman Kris Letang and forward Evgeni Malkin.
