Penguins' Stanley Cup win celebrated on Twitter

Supporters from Pittsburgh revel in team's first championship since 2009

The Pittsburgh Penguins are the Stanley Cup champions after a 4-2 win against the San Jose Sharks in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Sunday, and some of Pittsburgh's most famous supporters took to social media to celebrate the Penguins' first championship since 2009.

Actor Joe Manganiello already has his championship hat and T-shirt, and posted this picture of him, his brother Nicholas and niece Gia celebrating.

Retired professional wrestler Shawn Michaels, who became a Penguins fan during their Eastern Conference Final series against the Tampa Bay Lightning, was excited about Pittsburgh's win.

Michaels' WWE peer Triple H added his own congratulatory tweet for the Penguins.

The NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers posted video of their players congratulating the Penguins on the Cup win.

The Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball posted a picture to congratulate the Penguins. Members of the Pirates, including second baseman Josh Harrison and shortstop Jordy Mercer, also tweeted their support.

Amanda Kessel, a hockey player for the United States women's national team and the sister of Penguins forward Phil Kessel, admitted she was emotional about her brother winning the Cup.
