Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Olli Maatta is a healthy scratch for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Consol Energy Center on Monday (8 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, TVA Sports).
Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said his sixth defenseman would be a game-time decision, but Maatta remained on the ice after the rest of the regulars left, including defenseman Justin Schultz . He has played three games in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, most recently in against the Washington Capitals in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Second Round.
Schultz declined to comment when asked if he was playing in Game 2.
The Lightning lead the best-of-7 series 1-0.
