The Pittsburgh Penguins are voting each other onto the island.
The Penguins chose which teammate they would pick to be stranded on an island with in a new video posted to the team's Twitter account. Casey DeSmith had smart logic when it came to his pick. "Sidney Crosby because the whole city of Pittsburgh would come rescue us," DeSmith said about the Penguins captain.
Kris Letang also chose Crosby for practical reasons. "He would be great at hunting and feeding me," Letang said. Marcus Pettersson and Rickard Rakell proved that they were best friends by picking each other. Rakell reasoned because they lived together once and "it worked out pretty well." Kasperi Kapanen didn't have to think twice or provide an explanation when he chose Brock McGinn. Evgeni Malkin ended the video with complete faith in his own abilities. "Malkin! Only one," the Penguins forward answered.
