Pittsburgh Penguins forwards Evgeni Malkin and Patric Hornqvist skated Sunday, but it remains unknown when either will be back in the lineup, according to coach Mike Johnston.

Malkin has missed the past four games because of a lower-body injury; Hornqvist (undisclosed) has been out since March 15.
Johnston said he doesn't expect Hornqvist to be able to play when the Penguins face the St. Louis Blues at Consol Energy Center on Tuesday, but he didn't rule out Malkin.
"I still believe that [Malkin] might be a couple days ahead of Patric, but there's no set timeline on when they're going to play for sure," Johnston said, according to the Penguins website. "[Malkin], it might be 50-50 [on Tuesday] or a little bit longer shot. It's hard for me to tell because I want to see how the trainers feel that he reacted to the ice session today, the limited amount that he did."
Penguins defenseman Christian Ehrhoff did not practice Sunday. Johnston said he hopes to have an update on Ehrhoff's condition Monday.
