Penguins get Hossa from Thrashers and Gill from Toronto @NHLdotcom

PITTSBURGH (AP) -The Pittsburgh Penguins acquired forward Marian Hossa from Atlanta in a trade that sent forwards Colby Armstrong and Eric Christensen to the Thrashers.

The Penguins made the move to add another proven scorer to Sidney Crosby's line once their star returns from an ankle injury.

The Penguins also get forward Pascal Dupuis while the Thrashers acquire prospect Angelo Esposito, Pittsburgh's first-round pick in the 2007 draft, and a first-round draft pick.

In a separate trade, the Penguins acquired defenseman Hal Gill from Toronto for second- and fifth-round draft picks.
