Pittsburgh Penguins forward Blake Comeau has been placed on injured reserve and will be out several weeks, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Tuesday.
It is believed Comeau sustained a wrist injury against the Florida Panthers on Monday. He is the 10th Penguins player on injured reserve.
The Penguins recalled forward Dominik Uher from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League. He will be the sixth Penguins player to make his NHL debut this season if he plays against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday.
Comeau had 11 goals and eight assists in 32 games this season and was seeing top-six time with injuries to forwards Pascal Dupuis, Chris Kunitz and Patric Hornqvist.
