Penguins-Flyers on NBC starts busy Sunday @NHLdotcom
A national television audience will see if the Philadelphia Flyers can cool off the hottest team in hockey on Sunday afternoon.

The Flyers, 3-2 losers in a shootout at Boston on Saturday, will be back at the Wells Fargo Center for the final visit of the season from the Pittsburgh Penguins, who won their 11th in a row on Saturday by beating the Devils 5-2 in New Jersey.

NBC will air the game in the United States, beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET. Viewers in Canada can see the game on the NHL Network and RDSI.

The Penguins-Flyers contest is the only afternoon game but there are five more contests at night -- all of them with playoff implications.

Washington, eighth in the East, continues a five-game trip with a stop in Chicago in a game that can be seen in the U.S. on the NBC Sports Network, beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Washington lost 3-2 at Winnipeg on Saturday and enters the game with a two-point lead on the Jets and Buffalo Sabres for the final playoff spot. Chicago is back home after a 4-1 win at Dallas on Friday.

Three more games get under way at 8. Columbus concludes a Western Canada trip with a stop in Calgary; the Flames are home after missing a chance to move into the top eight in the West by losing 3-1 at Edmonton on Friday. Phoenix, off since a 4-1 loss at Calgary on Wednesday, visits Edmonton, and Nashville wraps up a four-game trip in Anaheim.

In the final game of the night, Winnipeg hosts Carolina at 8:30 p.m. ET. The 'Canes are coming off a 5-3 win at Minnesota on Saturday afternoon.
