Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang will not be in the lineup against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday (4 p.m. ET; ROOT, FS-W).
Letang has been dealing with an unknown injury and left practice Thursday and did not practice Friday.
"It's been lingering a little bit," coach Mike Johnston told the Penguins website Friday. "We'll see what the trainers have to say as we move along."
Letang has one goal and 14 points in 24 games this season.
Defenseman Olli Maatta, who hasn't played since Nov. 17 missing six games with an unknown injury, will play against the Kings. Maatta has two goals and four points in 18 games this season.
